Your Path to Specialization

Presto is completely an LED gel system, with 100% UV-free curing. Created in 2009 Presto seamlessly merged nail technology with dental technology, and offering an intriguing range of gels. Let's embark on a journey to explore Presto gels with a particular emphasis on their base gel, top gel, and structure gel.

The base and top gels are the unsung heroes of any gel manicure. They provide the foundation and the finishing touch that makes your nail art not only shine but last. Presto offers several options for both, catering to various preferences and needs.

Presto's lineup of base gels includes the regular base coat, no-sanding base coat, and easy-off base coat. These are the options that you'll find with most Japanese gel brands. The choice between them often comes down to personal preferences and the specific characteristics of your nails. After thorough experimentation, I've found myself gravitating towards the regular base coat for its versatility.

Presto's selection of top gels is extensive, encompassing five distinctive options. These include the main top gel (requiring wiping), no-wipe top gel, and matte top coat. The 4th and 5th top gel additionally offer a soft and a hard top gels.

The soft-top gel is a real game-changer, especially for those of us with more thinner nails. It's good at reducing that heat spike that can be a bother when you have thinner nails. Plus, it gives you that glossy finish. On the flip side, the hard top gel is your go-to if you need something with more staying power. It's not an easy soak off, so it's perfect for strengthening your nails.

While I haven't had a chance to personally try out the soft and hard top gels, they're worth considering if you have specific needs in mind.

Presto also offers sculpting gel but their sculpting gel falls into a semi-hard gel. In simpler terms, it's not a quick soak-off solution. While I won't dive into the specifics of sculpting gel in this blog post, it's a valuable option for those interested in more strength on their nails.

Presto's delightful range of colors are available in both jars and bottle forms. However, there are a few shades that aren't soakable, so keep an eye out for this detail when making your selections. Presto's color selection is excellent in pigmentation, and ensuring your nail art truly pops. Their color gels are sworn to be no stir--making your nail art life a little bit easier.

One piece of advice that I cannot stress enough is the importance of using Presto's base and top gels with their colors. I've experienced issues with cracking when using other gel brands, making this combination highly recommended.

I hope this deep dive into Presto gels has provided you with a more understanding of the brand and its offerings. Japanese gels, especially those from Presto, have the potential to elevate your nail art game to new heights and add strength to weak nails.

I hope this post was a valuable insights into Presto, helping you determine whether it's the right Japanese gel brand for you. I'll see you in the next post.
